Position Description
Carrier Services Representatives are responsible for managing carrier information.  This will include collecting and managing information for both existing and new carriers.  Candidates will be expected to work in a fast paced work environment while remaining accurate and keeping an attention to detail. Speed is needed from the Carrier Services Representatives to enable the Operations personnel to work as efficiently as possible while identifying and managing risks throughout the company.

Essential Duties

• Request, collect and verify documentation for accuracy received from carriers, insurance companies, factoring companies, as well as other sources
• Process, manage and store information in the electronic database
• Create and maintain a positive work environment
• Project a professional, courteous and respectful communication style with all internal and external associates at all times

Qualifications

• Possess excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills which include communicating clearly and persuasively to get results
• Superior attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
• Desire to complete tasks completely and accurately which may sometimes require several follow-ups
• Ability to exercise sound judgment while making frequent decisions
• Analytical skills, results oriented, high energy, self motivated, yearning to work in a team environment while still able to work independently
• Ability to follow, create and improve processes
• Highly proficient with Outlook, Acrobat, Excel, and Internet Explorer

Preferred Qualifications

• Insurance background helpful
• Experience with TMW operating system helpful
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
