R2 Logistics, Inc. was founded in 2005 by the President and Chief Executive Officer, Ben Gase, to fill a gap in the 3PL market. He believed a better quality of service could be offered; a service that made the customer the number one priority. The main goal he has set for R2 is to offer a superior service to create loyal customers.  He believes a satisfied customer is not enough.  Ben has fixed company standards to exceed customer expectations, and has made it a point for R2 to set itself apart from the competition.

Competition has been the major motivational tool used to spur R2’s success; not only with rival companies but among R2 employees as well. Pushing his employees to do their best on a daily basis has led to recognitions such as Forbes’ America’s Most Promising Companies list; where R2 ranked No. 29 out of 100. As well as being ranked No. 575 on Inc.’s 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies. In a sub-category of this list, R2 was ranked No. 13 in the Logistics and Transportation industry.

Ben graduated from Ferris State University with a degree in Marketing and Sales in 2002.  He is currently a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), a network of young executives that encourage bold leadership by connecting members with new ideas and potential markets.   He is an avid golfer who believes you should want to win at whatever you are doing, and carries the attitude to reach for your goals even when it’s said that it can’t be done.
